Intex Aqua Octa (Qucik Review), which was one of the first Octa core phone launched in India, is now selling online on Snapdeal for Rs. 19,999. Year 2014 is touted to be the year of MT6592 octa core devices and Intex Aqua Octa has arrived earlier than the rest. According to our sources the shipment of the phone had arrived as early as January 13th 2013.
The OGS display is 6 inches in size and sports 720 p HD resolution. The display resolution doesn’t match well with the prowess of the 8 CPU cores in the chipset. The Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system which was mostly stock android in our time with the device.
The processor used is MT6592 processor with 8 CPU cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. The processor is backed by 2 GB RAM and Mali 450 MP4 GPU along with 16 GB onboard storage, expandable to 32 GB using MicroSD slot. The chipset has been a decent performer according to benchmark scores popping up in several places over the web.
The primary camera has a 13 MP AF sensor and is supported by LED flash. A 5 MP front camera is also present for video calling and selfies.
The battery capacity is 2300 mAh. Other connectivity features of this dual SIM phone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with AGPS support.
