Celkon Mobiles has launched a premium looking device, Celkon S1 that flaunts the power of 1.5 GHz quad core processor for a price tag of Rs. 14,999. The phone also sports full HD resolution along with several other features which make it a good value for money device.
The Full HD resolution IPS LCD display is 5 inches in size and comes with OGS or One Glass Solution technology. The phone is only 6.5 mm thick and weighs a moderate 137 grams.
The manufacturer of 1.5 GHz quad core processor has not been specified yet. The processor is also supported by 1 GB RAM and 16 GB onboard storage which is quite good. MicroSD card support is also present in Celkon S1.
A 13 MP AF primary camera is present at the back and at the front you will get an 8 MP camera with. On the software front, you will get Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system.
The battery capacity is 2300 mAh, which is above average considering the mAh rating. Connectivity features include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and aGPS.
The phone looks quite similar to Lava Iris Pro 30 on the outside and on the inside, hardware has been updated to compete in the modern scenario. The phone will compete against MT6589T full HD phones like Micromax Canvas Turbo, Zen UltraFone Amaze FHD 701 and Intex Aqua i7.
