Huawei Ascend Y530 with Snapdragon 200 and Android 4.3 Announced

Huawei has announced another budget Android device, Huawei Ascend Y530, which features dual core processor and other basic hardware to tag along with it. The highlight is the software. The phone runs on Android 4.3 jelly bean operating system with chances of Android KitKat update. The UI however will be customized Emotion UI and not Stock android.

The 4.5 inch display of Huawei Ascend Y530 carries 854 x 480 (FWVGA) pixels across it, which must render it fairly usable if not outright brilliant. The processor used is Snapdragon 200 dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, which is quite obsolete now.

RAM capacity is 512 MB and internal storage is ordinary 4 GB expandable using MicroSD card support. Imaging hardware includes 5 MP primary camera and a VGA front shooter which will be seldom used. The battery capacity is 1750 which is above average in expected price range.

The phone will launch in Germany first and will later be introduced in other markets. It will come in four different colors- black with grey, black with red, black with yellow, and white with grey. The price is expected to be less than 10k mark. Anything more than that and the phone will be a tough buy. The phone is expected to arrive in March 2014 and that’s like a year in tech year. Stay Tuned!
