Major aspersions were being cast on whether Motorola could provide with proper distribution channels and after sales support, because the company had closed its operations in India couple of years back. We were optimistic in this regard and considered it to be a game changer in India.
Going by the earlier rumors, Moto G has partnered with online retailers for distribution of Moto G in India and Flipkart is undoubtedly one of the launch partner. The online retailer has already provided with a dedicated page for Moto G which is now showing a “Coming Soon” tag.
With Lenovo acquiring Motorola from Google, we can hope for a wider network for after sales support in coming future, once the deal goes through.
