Samsung has also launched galaxy Note Pro tablet for Indian market priced at Rs. 64,000 at Samsung Forum 2014 in Indonesia today. Samsung Galaxy Note Pro features a massive 12.2 inch display backed by high end specs and was globally introduced earlier this year at CES.
The 12.2 inch super clear LCD display sports WQXGA 2560 X 1600 resolution (247 ppi) which is pretty good for a display this size. Note Pro will also come with S-Pen stylus to take full advantage of the large screen real estate.
The processor employed In Indian variant is Exynos 5 Octa and not Snapdragon 800. Apart from 3 GB RAM, the chipset features 32 GB internal storage memory expandable using MicroSD support.
Though you won’t be using it as your primary photography device, Samsung has provided with an 8 MP shooter at the back and a 2 MP front shooter for video recording. The software is latest Android 4.4 KitKat with Magazine UX.
The battery capacity is 9500 mAh and various connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and GLONASS. There is no word on the availability of these tablets yet but we can expect them to be available for purchase in the coming weeks.
