Another budget quad core smartphone Lenovo A680 is available in India. The Chinese manufacturer has kept the pricing quite aggressive at Rs. 9,290. The information was unveiled by Mahesh Telecom, a major smartphone retailer who has been accurate with his timely predictions till date.
The Lenovo A680 is powered by 1.3 GHz, MT6582 quad core processor which is ubiquitous in budget quad core segment. The processor is coupled with 1 GB RAM (RAM might we 512 MB, we will confirm this later). The internal memory is 4 GB and can be further extended to 32 GB.
The Dual SIM smartphone flaunts a 5 inch display with FWVGA resolution, the display however is not a multi touch display. The software is Android 4.2 jelly bean for rich access to Android eco system. For imaging, you get a 5 MP fixed focus rear shooter and a VGA front shooter.

The battery capacity is 2000 mAh and Lenovo claims 14 hours of talk time on 2G which is decent enough. The information does not come from bona fide sources but is credible enough. We will update this article with official specs as soon as they surface.
The device seems alluring because it offers quad core processor at a competitive price tag. The single touch display and fixed focus shooter might play spoil sport.
