It has been in the rumor mill that the successor of HTC One will feature dual camera and now folks at GSMArena have got their hands on an Australian carrier brochure, thus confirming the name of the new flagship device as “All New HTC One” and the Dual camera feature too.
The two camera’s at the back of HTC One will be used to focus at different locations to provide with several editing options including 3D effect, softening of background, highlight specific parts, etc.
All flagship phones do have a refocus feature, first Introduced by Nokia in Lumia 1520. Samsung Galaxy S5 , Xperia Z2 and LG G Pro 2 also have similar software refocus feature but HTC will achieve similar results using combination of hardware and software.
The latest teaser from HTC also highlighted the camera technology, with focus being on Ultra pixels. Other features confirmed by the brochure include 5 inch 1080p dispay, HTC BoomSound( Dual frontal Stereo speaker) and HTC Sense 6 UI with double tab to unlock similar to LG flagships. we are eager to know how well HTC has implemented its dual camera feature, but that will be possible only after 25th March when All new HTC One is official.
