Gionee claims its latest flagship phone ElifeE7 has the world’s most sensitive camera and the camera did in fact impress us. The Gionee Elife E7 comes equipped with a 16 MP shooter at the back and an 8 MP front shooter. The front unit supports Auto focus, which is rare in front cameras.
To list the technical specifications, the 16 MP shooter has a largan M8 lens, 1/ 2.3 inch sensor with 1.4 micro meter pixel size. The large pixel size equips it for good low light performance. In practical scenario the phone performed quite well both in low light and full light conditions for both long shots and close shots. You can read more about Gionee Elife E7 and its camera on our Gionee Elife E7 full review.
The Camera app allows you to toggle with Exposure, White Balance and ISO in the Professional mode other than standard set of features. The Charm Cam app lets you add certain extra effects to clicked images and also include an object eraser mode.
You can see images that we have clicked from the Camera App after the break. You can compare the shots in proper and low light condition. Flash was off during our photography session with Elife E7. You can also check the 1080p video sample which is also impressive. ‘
