Aircel Offers Free Facebook For 60 days For New and 30 Days For Existing Consumers With Data Cap

Aircel today announced an interesting offer and the network carrier will now allow all customers to access the Facebook app, Messenger app and the mobile version of Facebook for free. If the offer sounds too good to be true, it is. There are a few catches.

The new customers will get 50 MB of data per month for up to 60 days post which customers will have to pay 2p/10 kb. The existing customers will get only 30 days to use their 50 MB quota, but that must be enough to comfortably exhaust 50 MB.

If you think that’s not much Aircel has something more to offer. Aircel customers can opt for special tariff pack which will cost 50p/ day or 14 INR for 28 days with 100 MB data plan. 25 MB Plan will cost you Rs. 5 for 5 days.

The service is presently available in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Maharashtra. Aircel plans to extend this to other regions soon.

Aircel has positioned itself well as a data leader by constantly innovating products and services aimed at redefining user experience, especially the youth. Over 75 million people access Facebook through their mobile phones in India and more than 60 percent of Aircel customers who have data enabled handsets consume internet on their phones,” stated Anupam Vasudev, Chief Marketing Officer, Aircel.
