Early this year, Motorola confirmed that it the successor of Moto X smartphone will be launched late this summer. While the Moto X launched last year itself is yet to be released in some markets, gossips about its successor have started making rounds across the web.
The well known leakster @evleaks came up with sizzling information over the weekend by posting an image suggesting the name of the Moto X successor – Moto X + 1. Expect for the name of the handset, the other details of the phone remain a mystery. Even the mathematical name – Moto X + 1 is said to be a codename for internal use and could be changed later.
The one thing that has stirred the speculations is the release date of this handset from Motorola. While the firm had confirmed that the device will be out late summer, the tweet says coming soon hinting that the alleged Moto X + 1 could go official even before the pegged date.
It has to be noted that Motorola has already detailed its plans about the release of Moto 360 smartwatch, a wearable device running on Android Wear smartwatch SDK in summer. Like the Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear combo, there is a possibility for Motorola to announce the Moto X + 1 and Moto 360 combo.
