It seems like India based vendor iBall is planning to upgrade its Slide lineup of tablets with the launch of a dual SIM tablets dubbed Slide 3G 7271-HD70. This tablet is the sequel to the Slide 3G 7271 HD7 that was announced early this year. Priced at Rs 8,999, the tablet comes with dual SIM card slots for voice calling and 3G connectivity on the go.
The iBall Slide 3G 7271-HD70 features a 7 inch capacitive 5 point multi-touch display with 1024×600 pixel resolution. The software is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean that is pretty decent for a budget tablet.
The 1.3 GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor under the hood of the tablet is backed by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage, which can be further extended to 32 GB using micro SD support.
At the back, there is a 2 MP camera for ordinary photography and at front a VGA camera for video calling. Battery capacity is 3,000 mAh and other features include Dual SIM calling Dual Standby, 3G (via SIM card slots), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Though the Slide 3G 7271-HD70 brings only ordinary specifications to the table and nothing new, it is priced reasonably and could be a better offering for those who prefer to own a budget tablet.
