A few days back we talked about Android version update coming on Gionee Elife E7 (Full Review) this summer, but even before that, Gionee is now rolling out another minor Gionee Elife E7 OTA Update. The update brings added touchPal input along with some other interface changes.
To download this update, go to Settings >> About Phone>> System update. Elife E7 display will now give you details of changes included in this new update and you can hit the download button below to proceed. While the update downloads, charge your phone to above 35 percent as you won’t be able to upgrade to higher version on battery stats below 35.
In the new update, GameZone will get a face lift. Gionee is also adding one new theme and one wallpaper. The major change however is the added TouchPal input method, which means prediction engine will work better and you will commit fewer mistakes while typing.
And yes, if you like to check weather on your smartphone rather than to peep outside the window, Elife E7 will now provide with fahrenheight temperature as well. The update is not a major one and doesn’t come with new and Fancy Android Kitkat, but Gionee is hoping to pacify eager fans for some time.
