HTC launched another phone in its flagship Desire series in the pocket friendly segment. HTC Desire 210 dual comes after HTC launched Desire 310 dual last month. HTC seems to be in the hunt to gain market share of the growing budget segment in India. Let’s take a look at this miniature bombshell from HTC.
Camera and internal storage
HTC Desire 210 dual come with a 5 MP snapper and a VGA front camera. The 5 MP is a common feature in the budget segment but the downside is the absence of LED flash. The camera is not comparable to that of the Lumia series which clicks beautiful images without flash.
HTC Desire 210 dual has a 4 GB internal memory with a micro SD support up to 32 GB which is again a common feature of this segment.
Processor and battery
HTC Desire 210 dual packs in MediaTek MT6572M 1 Ghz dual core processor which is backed by a 512 MB RAM. MediaTek MT6572M is what we commonly see in budget dual core devices of present generation and this is the first time HTC has opted for a low cost Mediatek dual core processor in order to reduce cost.
HTC Desire 210 dual has a 1300 mAh battery which will give a good backup since the phone sports a 4 inch screen. We can expect it to last one day with low to moderate usage.
Display and other features
HTC desire 210 dual adorns a 4 inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800. Other phones plying their trade in this segment offer similar or better screen. HTC Desire 210 dual does not offer wow features to you but it does offer HTC-esque build quality.
HTC Desire 210 dual comes with the renowned HTC sense UI embedded in it. You can also experience the super kool Blinkfeed feature. Now the bad part, the phone runs on Android 4.2 which is a negative on HTC’s part as LG and Sony provides Android version in its latest upcoming handsets.
Comparison
HTC Desire 210 dual is likely to go head to head with LG L40 dual, Sony Xperia E1 dual and Nokia Lumia 525
