Sony Launched Full HD 3D VPL-HW40ES Home Cinema Projector

Sony has launched a new FHD 3D home cinema projector dubbed VPL-HW40ES that provides a real home cinema experience to the users. This projector delivers life to the 2D and 3D content with vibrant colors, contrast and details. Besides expanding the portfolio of Sony’s cinema lineup, the VPL-HW40ES delivers immersive and superior quality images with the help of SXRD panel technology that is present in Sony’s digital cinema projectors.

The VPL-HW40ES includes Reality Creation feature that reproduces textures and colors that usually gets lost when the movies are burned to the disc. Thereby, users can see a great difference with sharper and crisper content. Also, the uprated optical engine in the VPL-HW40ES that has 1,700 lumens brightness for clear and high impact images when in bright light conditions. Furthermore, the projector has features including Sony Bright Cinema and Bright TV mode.

The VPL-HW40ES has Contrast Enhancer that can analyze the scenes in real time and optimize the dynamic range in different segments in order to deliver sparkling highlights and deep blacks. Motionflow technology delivers a smooth, sharp and more fluid on-screen motion with reduced blur in the sport and action scenes.

VPL-HW40ES home cinema projector features an in-built 3D IR transmitter that makes out 2D or 3D content automatically and has noise shaping technology that emits only 21dB of noise level.


The VPL-HW40ES home cinema projector is priced at Rs 1,99,000 and it will be available for sale starting from May 10.
