China based Lenovo is well known for launching reasonably priced smartphones that come with rich feature set in its S lineup. At the Mobile World Congress 2014, the firm announced the Lenovo S860 smartphone, which has now entered into the Indian boundary bearing a price tag of Rs 21,500.
A 5.3 inch HD IPS display panel finds its place on the Lenovo S860 and hence, the handset boasts a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Processing capabilities are handled by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor that is coupled with 2 GB of RAM for enhanced multi-tasking. The handset runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean that is topped with the custom Lenovo UI.
An 8 MP primary camera at the back teamed up with LED flash and a 1.6 MP front-facing snapper handle the photography department. Also, there is 16 GB of internal storage in the Lenovo S860 that cannot be expanded. The offerings from Lenovo are usually acclaimed for their superior battery capabilities and this one is no different as it houses a 4,000 mAh battery under its hood.
Further, connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are packed to enable the users to stay connected seamlessly. The dual SIM phone features dual speakers and a brushed metal exterior to prevent scratches and fingerprints.
The Lenovo S860 is available in a Titanium color variant and it can be pre-ordered from the official thedostore.com. Lenovo claims that the retail availability of the phone will debut from May 3, 2014.
