Looks Indian budget Android segment is getting saturated with colors this summer season. After Micromax and Lava, Panasonic will soon launch a smartphone Panasonic P81 which will come with customizable back covers.

Following the marketing trends of Panasonic P31, the Japanese manufacturer has teased the upcoming smartphone via images sent through emails reading “a NEW COLOR everyday”. Any other hardware specification has not been revealed so far but,  judging by the arrival of P31, we are expecting to see a few more vague teasers before the actual launch takes place.

The P series smartphone is expected to sport a quad core chipset and lie in the vicinity of 10,000 INR. Panasonic has been targeting low end segment lately and that is only wise as all major players are eyeing to cash on the exponential growth in this price segment. Chipset designer ARM also expects astounding 1 million units of entry level phones by 2018.

We are not expecting a Moto Maker like customizations but we are hoping Panasonic might bundle a few different color back covers within the box. We will keep you updated with more details as soon as they surface.
