This SmartBand SWR10 has also been announced in the country besides the Xperia Z2.  This SmartWear device allows users to record their activities and also features a detachable core unit. Users can connect this accessory with their smartphone via Bluetooth with the help of the Lifelog app available for Android devices. With this SmartBand, users can also keep a track of entertainment and information services with ease.

Recording the user’s activities simply means that the SmartBand logs the workout details, sleep time, ring alerts, bookmarks for special events and also collect the data whenever the handset is not reachable or if it gets disconnected from the phone temporarily. All these details are sent to the user as a set ensuring that none of the information is missed by the user.

With the Lifelog app, users can come to know how much more they need to workout to attain their everyday goal, track the weather and get alerts, bookmark special events with the Life Bookmark key and other tasks. The highlights of this SmartBand are that it is waterproof like the Sony’s high-end smartphone offerings, stylish and comfortable to wear and features a fastening button and LEDs for notifications.

The SmartBand vibrates when the user receives a call, text message or any other notification and play, pause and skip between tracks that are being played on the smartphone. The battery incorporated in the SmartBand delivers an impressive backup of up to 5 days.

Sony SmartBand arrives in a black colored variant and its wrist strap comes in a slew of color variants. The device is priced at Rs 5,990 and it is offered for free along with the Xperia Z as an introductory offer.
