The display is layered with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating for added protection. Also, the curved design of the handset is good to feel despite the fact that it is 1 mm thicker than its predecessor. Under its hood, the One Mini 2 operates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC that comprises of a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, Adreno 305 graphics unit and 1 GB of RAM.
Meeting the storage requirements of the users is 16 GB of default storage space that can further be expanded up to whopping 128 GB with the help of a micro SD card slot. Adhering to the previous rumors, the One Mini 2 does not implement the UltraPixel camera technology. Instead, the device features a 13 MP primary camera with BSI sensor and f/2.2 aperture lens. Also, there is a 5 MP front-facer onboard that assists in FHD 1080p video calling.
On the connectivity front, the HTC One Mini 2 is packed with a host of features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GLONASS, LTE and NFC.
