Spice has recently announced couple of budget segment android phones and out of these one model which has been in news little more is Spice Smart Flo Poise Mi 451. Its phone with decent specs for the price you pay for it, but one thing noticeable is the looks and build quality of the phone which is makes it slightly better than some other android in this price segment.

Inside the box you get the handset, standard earphones (iPhone 5 Style Earpods), Smart flip cover like the Samsung S4 flip cover, user manual, service center list, one screen guard preinstalled, Universal USB Charger and MicroUSB to USB cable.
Build Quality, Design and Form Factor
Build quality is much better than other phones in the same price segment, looks are premium and good quality of the plastic have been used. The design is just average but the glossy back cover is glossy and has a texture design inside the coating. Its not super light but weigh around 156 grams and feels great in hands and its quite easy to hold in one hands and one handed usage of the phone is good as well. Thickness is around 8.7 mm which makes pretty slim and easy to carry and to put inside jeans, trouser or bag pocket.
Camera Performance
Rear fixed focus camera is 3.2 MP which can take decent shots without much details in day light and low light performance is just average. Front camera is VGA not good to selfie and decent for occasional video calls but again as this price point you can expect much in camera department.

Display, Memory and Battery Backup
It has IPS LCD display which gives great viewing angles but we noticed slight blackness in the display at certain extreme angles, display resolution is not great for this much display size so the pixel density is less but text is readable and you cannot notice pixels unless you look very closely. The in built memory is 4Gb out which we got around 1.27 Gb available to user, however you have support for SD card and you can install apps on SD card as well and also move some apps from phone memory to SD card. It gave us around 1 day of backup with moderate usage and for a heavy user who would like to play games, watch videos etc it will give you around 8-10 hours of backup with 1450 mAh battery.
Software, Benchmarks and Gaming
The software interface has been customized which makes things slow and laggy at times, stock android must have much faster on this, but you can deal with it easily with third party launchers which will make UI faster as bit. It has decent gaming performance but don’t expect to play HD games on this, medium and casual games like Frontline Commando D Day and Temple Run OZ can be played on this device.

Sound, Video and Navigation
Loudspeaker is placed on the rear on the right side of the camera and the little camera bulge out of the body protects the speaker from getting blocked when you place it on the table. Volume of sound is good but not very loud from the device. It can play videos at 720p but for some videos at 1080p you will need MXPlayer to play them or some of the HD videos will not get played on the device as well. You can use this device for GPS navigation but it does not have the magnetic field sensor.

Spice Smart Flo Poise Mi 451 is pretty nice option available for Approx Rs. 5000 which makes it good looks, nice build quality phone with decent specs. The one thing which we did not liked much was only 512MB RAM which does not feel sufficient at times when you are running many apps and limited storage is also weak point as well but that can be solved by installing apps on SD card.
