Karbonn launched it’s KitKat trio several weeks back but it left buyers clueless about the availability of Karbonn Titanium Octane, Octane Plus and Hexa. While the Titanium Hexa was supposed to retail exclusively on Amazon.in, Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus (Initial Hands on Review) is now exclusively retailing on Snadeal for Rs. 17,990 INR.
The new flagship device features a 5 inch Full HD display packed inside the rubberized Matte finish body. The IPS LCD display is good in terms of sharpness but was average in terms of color and brightness.
The processor used is 1.7 GHz MT6592 Octa core processor with 2 GB RAM and Mali 450 MP4 GPU. The powerful chipset will fuel almost stock Android 4.4 KitKat on Octane Plus for great experience of Android eco system. Internal storage is 16 GB and can be further extended using MicroSD card support up to 32 GB.
The imaging hardware includes a 16 MP camera at the back, supported by LED flash and capable of full HD video recording. Front camera is no slouch either and incorporates an 8 MP senor for good quality selfies and video chat.
The battery capacity is only 2000 mAh, but the battery is removable. Connectivity features on this dual SIM phone include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with aGPS.
The delay in availability will definitely affect Karbonn Titanium Octane Adversely. The phone will primarily compete with Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ which will retail exclusively on Flipkart starting tonight.
