Update 21st June 2014: After we published this news, they have modified the listing and it says its coming soon now rather than buy now. All this indicates that we will see Galaxy Tab 4 7 inch model really soon in india. Its only few weeks left for the india launch event for the same.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and 10.1 had gone on sale quietly in India a couple of weeks ago. At that point of time, there was no information about the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 but it looks like that the cheapest sibling has gone on sale in India too. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has gone on sale online for Rs 17,715 on Infibeam.com and the website is offering a further discount of Rs 1,000 upon usage of the coupon code GADGETS10.

Only the white colour is available as of now and the black one is listed as coming soon. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 comes with a 7 inch display which has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Under the hood is a 1.2 GHz quad core Marvell PXA1088 processor which gets coupled with a 1GB RAM to ensure that multitasking is done easily.

It runs on the latest version of Android which is 4.4 KitKat and is the cheapest one in the country to run the latest version of the operating system. The internal storage capacity is 8GB but fret not as you can expand it by another 32GB with the help of a microSD card slot. At the back of the device is a 3 MP snapper and the front of the device gets a 1.3 MP camera.

Giving it the power to run is a 4,000 mAh battery unit which will last it up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 190 hours of music playback.
