Samsung Galaxy K Zoom with 20.7 MP Camera to Release in India Exclusively Via Amazon

Samsung unleashed the camera centric variant of its current flagship smartphone – Galaxy K Zoom in April at an event in Singapore. Now, it appears like it is time for the handset to be released in India sometime soon. According to an Amazon India listing, the Galaxy K Zoom will be exclusively available via the online retailer.

While the e-commerce portal has not revealed the specific release date of the camera centric smartphone, it has opened a content called Amazon Social Content that is live till July 13, 2014. The winner of this contest will receive a Samsung Galaxy K Zoom smartphone.

The highlights of the Galaxy K Zoom is the inclusion of a 20.7 MP primary snapper that is teamed that up with 10x digital zoom, BSI, OIS, AF/AE Separation, Xenon Flash, Pro Suggest Mode provides five optimized filter settings and a Selfie Alarm feature to click timed selfies.


In terms of specifications, the device is fitted with a 4.8 inch HD 720p Super AMOLED display and is equipped with a hexa-core Exynos 5 Hexa 5260 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. Furthermore, there is a 2.1 MP front-facing snapper, 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded and a 2,430 mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode. Other goodies onboard include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G, NFC and Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

While it is known that the Galaxy K Zoom will be released in India soon, there is no word on the alleged pricing of the handset.
