HTC India is planning to launch the latest octa core phone powered by MT6589 Octa core 1.7 Ghz CPU and 1 Gb RAM in india very soon. This device is under testing since two weeks. It will come with decent hardware specs which includes 8Mp rear auto focus camera with HD video record support. The front camera is 2 MP fixed focus and it also has microSD card slot which will support memory card upto 64 GB and will be DUAL SIM phone.
It will boost a 5 Inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and will also come with a replaceable battery of 2000mAh. All these details and specs of the phone has been confirmed two days ago when the device was announced officially in China.
In terms of the specs it measures 142 x 71.9 x 9.15mm and weighs 150 grams and it will come with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It will also run Lite version of HTC Sense UI 5.5 just like HTC Desire 516. We also spotted this phone on india import website as well, when some few units of the this phone was imported for testing it. Expected price of HTC Desire 616 is expected to be around 18k INR
