Lenovo has launched a new smartphone dubbed Lenovo S850 to strengthen its already existing portfolio of devices in the country. The handset was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 earlier this year. The S850 is released in two color variants – Pink and White and comes with a price tag of Rs 15,499.
Detailing on the specifications, the Lenovo S850 is given a 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a decent viewing angle or 178 degrees. Under the hood is a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor that is backed by PowerVR SGX544 graphics engine and 1 GB of RAM.
Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the S850 features a 13 MP primary camera at its back with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera for making video calls and clicking self portrait shots. Storage wise, the Lenovo phone bundles 16 GB of internal storage space that cannot be expanded. Other goodies onboard include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, dual SIM functionality and a 2,000 mAh battery.
