Swipe Slice Tablet with Dual SIM Support Available Exclusively Via Amazon India for 4,999 INR

Swipe Telecom that has lined up a plethora of offerings in the entry-level and mid-range tech market has come up with the launch of a tablet called Swipe Slice tablet. This tablet is available exclusively via Amazon India for a price tag of Rs 4,999.

When it comes to the technical specifications, the Swipe Slice tablet is given a standard 7 inch display that features a screen resolution of 800×480 pixels. It is claimed that this display can deliver decent viewing angles and is suitable for entertainment purposes. Also, the tablet appears to boast an ergonomic design for comfortable one handed operation with better grip.

The chipset used under the hood of the Swipe Slice tablet is a powerful dual-core MT8312 SoC that is clocked at 1.3 GHz. This processor is coupled with a mere 512 MB of RAM for basic multi-tasking. With this hardware combination, the Swipe tablet gains an AnTuTu benchmark score of 10210 that is impressive.

Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the Swipe tablet bundles 4 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 32 GB by means of a micro SD card. Also, there is a 2 MP rear snapper that is teamed up with a VGA front-facing snapper for making video calls. The connectivity features onboard include 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS and micro USB port. Also, there are dual SIM card slots that can deliver the comfort of making voice calls similar to a smartphone.
