After Millennium Vogue Q455 celkon mobiles has launched another smartphone named Signature Two A500 in the budget price range with some interesting hardware. Priced at 5,999 INR, the Signature Two A500, with familiar perforated rear design, will be fishing its markets share in troubled waters.
The TFT display is sweet 5 inches in size with usable 854 x 480 pixel resolution. Like most recently launched budget phones, this one also has Android 4.4 Kitkat OS heading the software front.
A dual core MT6572M clocked at 1.3 GHz powers the device, assisted by 1 GB RAM, Mali 400 GPU and 8 GB internal storage. The chipset seems quite decent in this price range. The storage is further expandable by another 32 GB using MicroSD card support.
Imaging hardware includes a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash (Most likely fixed focus unit) and a VGA front camera for basic video calling. Signature Two 500 comes with a not-so-slim 9.9 mm thick body but is quite light at 147 grams.
Battery capacity is 2000 mAh which is again above average in this price range. Other features include Dual SIM connectivity, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and AGPS.
According to earlier reports, Celkon has also joined hands with Google as Android One partner and we are eager to see how revolutionary Android One program turns out to be.
