Karbonn A1+ Super and A5 Turbo with Android KitKat Out Starting from 3,290 INR

It was only in the last month that Karbonn unleashed numerous entry-level smartphones in the sub Rs 6,000 price bracket. So soon, the manufacturer has launched two new entry-level smartphones dubbed Katbonn A1+ Super and Karbonn A5 Turbo based on Android 4.4 KitKat platform. These phones are priced at Rs 3,490 and Rs 3,290 respectively making them suitable for those upgrading to smartphones for the first time.

When it comes to specifications, both Karbonn A1+ Super and A5 Turbo feature a 3.5 inch HVGA display and uses 256 MB of RAM and expandable storage support. They arrive with a slew of connectivity features such as 2G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The A1+ Super is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and comes with a 3 MP primary snapper with LED flash and a front-facing VGA shooter. It also has a 1,250 mAh battery under the hood to energize it. On the other hand, the A5 Turbo makes use of a 1 GHz single-core processor and a 3 MP primary snapper with no mention regarding its battery.

Regarding the launch, Sudhir Hasija, Chairman of Karbonn Mobiles, said, “Today, a large segment of consumers are shifting from feature phones to smartphones and looks for a smartphone with advanced technology and maximum features at affordable prices.
