Oppo recently teased Oppo N1 Mini via social media channels and now we have received invite for the launch event on 11th August 2014. We liked Oppo N1 in time we spend with the device and are eager to see if Oppo can transfer the same experience to a not so min variant.
The highlight of the device will be its 13 MP swivel camera, which will appease exponentially growing selfie lovers. The camera can also capture 24 MP shots in ultra HD mode, similar to what we saw on Oppo Find 7, besides capturing Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps.
The IPS LCD display is 5 inches in size with 720p HD resolution. There is no Android kitkat and instead Oppo N1 Mini is fueled by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based Color OS.
The processor employed is Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core clocked at 1.6 GHz. The CPU is paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 2 GB RAM. The storage is not expandable and you will have to remain content with 16 GB.
The battery capacity is 2140 mAh which should last for 1 day with low to moderate usage. As always, Price tag will be the most crucial factor for success. Oppo did improve its pricing with Find 7 and 7a in India. It has also partnered with online retailer Amazon which makes Oppo mobiles accessible to masses. With Find 7a retailing for 31,990 INR, it wouldn’t make much sense if Oppo launches it above 25K.
