After countless leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is now official confirming most of several rumors. The device sports metal around its edges as you can see in the official press renders and will be available across 150 markets in starting in September next month.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a 4.7 inch super AMOLED display with 720p HD resolution encased in slim and sleek metal body. The smartphone will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 5 octa chipset backed by 2 GB RAM and non expandable 32 GB internal storage.
Samsung has also stated that Galaxy Alpha could also feature 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core chipset in select markets. Imaging hardware includes 12 MP rear camera with LED flash and heart rate sensor and a 2.1 MP front shooter for video calling.
Battery capacity is 1860 mAh and Samsung has also provided with its aggressive battery saving mode. Other features include 4G LTE, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and MicroUSB 2.0 and Fingerprint sensor. The handset is extremely slim at 6.7 mm body thickness and weighs only 115 grams.
