Mercury mTAB Star M830G Dual SIM Tablet with 3G Support Out for 6,999 INR

Peripheral manufacturer Kobian that is known for manufacturing low cost tablets has come up with another slate called Mercury mTAB Star M830G. The device carries a price tag of Rs 6,999 and it is fueled by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and can be upgraded to v4.4 KitKat operating system. There are dual SIM cards in the slate to facilitate 3G connectivity and voice calling support.

When it comes to technical specifications, the Mercury mTAB Star M830G is given a standard 7 inch display that packs a screen resolution of 800×480 pixels. Under its hood, the slate houses a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. On the imaging front, the Mercury mTAB Star M830G comes with a 2 MP rear snapper paired with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

The Mercury tablet bundles 8 GB of internal storage space that can be extended externally by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Connectivity features onboard include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and there is a 2,800 mAh battery that can provide decent hours of backup to the Mercury mTAB Star M830G.
