Hyderabad based Celkon Mobiles has announced the launch of an entry-level smartphone called Celkon Campus Mini A350 based on Android 4.4 KitKat. Carrying a price tag of Rs 3,799, the handset appears to be similar to the Campus A35K that was launched in June. Furthermore, despite its low price tag, the latest Celkon phone comes with a free back cover that makes it interesting.
When it comes to specifications, the Celkon Campus Mini A350 comes with a small 3.5 inch display that carries a low screen resolution of 320×480 pixels. Powering the handset from within is a dual-core 1.3 GHz processor paired with a mere 256 MB of RAM that appears to be low to handle the multi-tasking. The dual SIM smartphone features a 3.2 MP primary snapper that is teamed up with LED flash and a VGA front-facing snapper for video conferencing and basic selfies.
Storage wise, the Celkon phone comes with a low internal storage space of 512 MB that can be expanded externally with the help of a micro SD card. Connectivity features onboard include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS along with a 1,500 mAh battery for a moderate backup.
Going by the specifications, it appears like the Celkon smartphone is a very basic one except for the inclusion of the latest iteration of Google’s OS – Android v4.4 KitKat.
