Update 20-5-2014: Xolo Q610S has also been spotted on GFXBench 3.0 listing, as you can see in the images below. The listing confirms MT6582 chipset as expected but points to a smaller 4.1 inch display contrary to import data.
Couple of months after launching Xolo Q600S, Xolo’s first budget quad core phone with Android KitKat, Xolo is all set to launch another variant – Xolo Q610s very soon in India. The units of Xolo Q610S have already arrived and we can expect the phone to become official any day now.
Xolo has imported 5000 units in the first batch and judging by the import price, we can expect this new variant to be launched with a slightly smaller price tag of approx 6,000 INR.
The display size remains same at 4.5 inches and we are guessing, Xolo will perhaps replace the Broadcom Quad core chipset with MT6582M, similar to what it did with Xolo Q510S. Official specifications will be out soon.
Xolo Q600S which was launched to rival Moto E and other rivals included a 4.5 inches qHD display powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core Broadcom chipset, aided by 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. Other features included dual SIM functionality, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, 5 MP/ VGA camera and a 2000 mAh battery. Xolo Q610S isn’t expected to sport similar hardware.
