Apart from Xolo Q1000s Plus, Xolo has made official yet another variant of Q700, namely Xolo Q700s Plus. This one however, is sticking to MT6582 quad core instead of dated MT6589T. The major difference compared to Xolo Q700s is increased 8 GB internal storage.
Powered by 1.3 GHz quad core chipset with Mali 400 GPU, coupled with 1GB RAM, Xolo Q700s Plus ramps up internal storage from 4 GB to 8 GB, which is the prevailing trend. We are happy that OEMs are now offering at least 8 GB on board storage moving away from the hackneyed 4 GB model. Micromax is also quietly replacing 4 GB with 8 GB in best selling smartphones.
The 5 point IPS LCD display is same 4.5 inches in size with FWVGA 480 X 854 pixel resolution, amounting to 218 ppi. Software has also been upgraded to latest Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. Imaging hardware includes 8 MP rear camera capable of recording full HD 1080P videos and a VGA front camera for basic video calling.
Battery capacity is 1800 mAh,with charging time of 3 hours, 8 hours of 3G talk time and 429 hours of 2G talk time. Other features include WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroSD support up to 32 GB, Dual SIM and AGPS.
Xolo Q700s Plus upgrades and empowers it to compete with the fierce competition rapidly seeping in under 10k INR price range. Overall, it’s a good thing 4 GB trend is finally fading away.
