Lava Iris 400Q with Quad Core CPU and Android KitKat Listed Online for 5,499 INR

It was only on Monday that Lava announced the launch of its selfie focused ssmartphone dubbed Lava Iris X5 for a price tag of Rs 8,649. Now, the vendor has come up with an entry-level smartphone called Lava Iris 400Q that is available for sale on HomeShop18 for a tempting price of Rs 5,499.

The Iris 400Q is given a 4 inch WVGA display that packs a resolution of 480×800 pixels and employs a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor that is supplemented by 1 GB of RAM. On the storage front, it is pretty standard featuring a low 4 GB of native memory capacity that can be further extended externally up to 32 GB by means of a micro SD card.

Like most of the smartphones in this segment, the Lava phone flaunts a 5 MP primary camera coupled with LED flash and a VGA front-facer for video conferencing. Other goodies onboard the Iris 400Q are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual SIM connectivity and a 1,700 mAh battery.

Going by the trend, this entry-level smartphone from Lava is fueled by the latest iteration of Android – v4.4 KitKat. However, when the manufactures are coming up with similarly priced offering with increased 8 GB of internal storage capacity, the 4 GB of storage in this one is annoying.
