Apart from Selfie centric Lumia 730, Nokia also announced Lumia 830 which it is marketing as affordable flagship smartphone. The highlight of this device is the PureView 10 MP camera with Nokia’s thinnest ever Optical image stabilization set up and Carl Zeiss optics.
Lumia 830 is highlights what Nokia does best. It is indeed a more affordable PureView Camera (compared to other PureView Cams ofcourse) device which marks a shift in Nokia’s Market strategy. Camera app is rich in features like living images and there are three high performance Mics delivering True 5.1 surround sound audio. Its is also perhaps the first time Nokia is using Metal Side edges in Lumia 830, which is also the slimmest Nokia Phone so far at 8.5mm.
The display is 5 inches ClearBlack IPS LCD Display panel with 720p HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Lumia 830 will be powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core chipset assisted with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of Internal storage.
Other storage options include 128 GB MicroSD support and 15 GB One Drive storage. Software is Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim Update features pre-installed. Apart from the 10 MP PureView shooter, a 1 MP front camera is also present which can record HD videos.
Lumia 830 houses a removable 2200 mAh batter with wireless charging support. The Lumia 830 is expected to be available in September around the world and is estimated to be priced at around 330EUR before taxes and subsidies.
