Asus Zenfone 5 A500KL with Snapdragon Chipset and 4G Support Listed Online

The Zenfone 5 was a best seller in the smartphone arena and to keep its success factor going, Asus has come up with the Zenfone 5 A500KL smartphone that is listed on the official website. This new variant of the handset comes with several enhancements including Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor, 4G LTE and Android KitKat operating system.

The Asus Zenfone 5 A500KL is given a 5 inch HD 720p display topped with scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective coating. Instead of the Intel Atom chipset, this variant is stuffed with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8926 processor ticking at 1.2 GHz clock speed. Users can choose between 1 GB and 2 GB of RAM along with 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB of internal storage capacities. Furthermore, there is expandable storage support up to 64 GB via a micro SD card slot.

On the imaging front, the new Asus Zenfone 5 A500KL boasts of an 8 MP primary camera with auto focus and F2.0 aperture. This is supplemented with a 2 MP front-facing selfie camera with F2.4 aperture to capture more light. Other aspects of the smartphone include 4G, 3G, GPS with GLONASS,  Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi for connectivity and a 2,110 mAh battery capable of delivering up to 20 hours of backup on 3G networks.

For now, there is no clue on when this new variant of the Asus Zenfone 5 will be launched in India and we need to wait for Asus to reveal the same.
