Micromax believes that its and extreme value for money device which will democratize technology. If you plan on buying the handset, here are some questions and their answers you might be looking for.

Question – Does Micromax Canvas Nitro has Corning Gorilla Glass Protection?
Answer- No, Canvas Nitro doesn’t have Gorilla Glass Protection. Handset comes with a Screen guard out of the box and a spare one is bundled in the box as well
Question – What comes inside the Box?
Answer- Box contains micro USB cable, Headphones, 2 Screen Guard, 1 Ampere wall charger, SIM adapters, Warranty card and Battery. The headphones give clear audio but there is no button for volume control. Bass levels are not too great.
Question – Does Micromax Canvas Nitro has heating issues due to the presence of Octa Core MT6592?
Answer – No, we didn’t observe any unconventional heating. There was some heating while playing games, but nothing drastic.
Question –What size SIM card is supported? Do both SIM support 3G?
Answer – Canvas Nitro accepts 2 Micro SIM cards and both SIM slot supports 3G. 3G Video calling option is not there.
Question – How is the call quality?
Answer – We didn’t face any issue regarding signal reception or call quality. You can record all calls you make or receive.
Question – Does it have LED notification light?
Answer – Yes, It does have LED notification light on the bottom edge
Question – How much is Free Storage?
Answer – Out of 8 GB about 5.68 GB is available at user end. You can also use up to 32 GB MicroSD card as well.
Question – Can Apps be transferred to SD Card?
Answers – No, you will have to remain content with little more than 6 GB of internal storage for Apps. Media and other content can be stored on SD card. There is option for checking default write disk as SD card, but that only allows you to transfer app data to SD card. You cannot move Apps to SD card.
Question – Does it support USB OTG?
Answer – No, Micromax Canvas Nitro does not supports USB OTG
Question – How is the Display of Canvas Nitro?
Answer – The 5 point Multi Touch IPS LCD display from has 720p HD display and everything looks sharp and clear. Colors are good. The touch is also smooth and responsive. Overall a good display at its price point.
Question – How is the Build Quality?
Answer – The phone has a nice leather finish back cover, which gives a nice grip. There are three backlit capacitive buttons lined below the display. Overall, we feel Moto G still leads in Build and Design, but Canvas Nitro is also has decent looks and feel.

Question – How much Did Canvas Nitro score on Antutu and Nenamarks 2?
Answer – Antutu Score is 19,655. Most High end games work without any lag, but due to limited storage you can’t keep many of them on board. Nenamark score was 60.4 Fps.
Question – How is the Gaming Performance?
Answer – Micromax Canvas Nitro has average gaming performance. MC4 and some other high end games didn’t run on the device. Several other high end games like Blood and Gorry and Front line commando worked without any issues.

Answer – You can see all Sensors listed in the image below. It has Accelerometer, light and Proximity sensor.
Question – How much RAM is available on first boot?
Answer – Around 1 GB MB RAM is free on first boot.
Question – How is GPS Locking?
Answer – GPS locking was instantaneous. GPS Navigation works good indoors and outdoors. Navigation also works well, but there is no Magnetic sensor
Question – How Loud is Loudspeaker on Canvas Nitro?
Answer – Loudspeaker is good. Loudness doesn’t reduce drastically when the phone is resting on its back. Loudspeaker is good but not as loud as dual frontal speaker on new Moto G.
Question – Can Micromax Canvas Nitro play Full HD 1080p Videos?
Answer – Yes, it can smoothly play full HD and HD videos.

Answer – Battery back up is one day or lesser. With Continuous moderate usage, it will last for around 4.5 hours. The verdict is after out initial tests.
