The upcoming iteration of Google’s Android platform, Android L is expected to be launched this fall along with the Nexus devices in the pipeline. Usually, the Nexus lineup will be the first to receive the Android L update, but this time more devices will join the list. Well, Google announced the Android One recently and claimed that the lineup will also receive the Android L update instantly. Moreover, vendors such as HTC and Motorola have made a similar announcement for some of their devices. Here is a list of some of those smartphones that will receive the Android L update soon after its availability.
Android One
The Android One smartphone are all based on the same reference model, hence they will arrive with similar specifications. The model includes a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display and incorporates a MediaTek MT6582 SoC with a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, Mali 400 MP2 graphics unit and 1 GB of RAM. There is 4 GB of internal storage capacity with expansible storage support up to 32 GB, a 5 MP primary camera at their rear with LED flash and HD 720p video recording and a front-facing 2 MP selfie camera. Other goodies onboard include dual SIM functionality, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 1,700 mAh battery.

The new Moto G is given a 5 inch display with HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Google Nexus 5
The LG made Google Nexus 5 comes with a 5 inch FHD display that packs a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and is stuffed with a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor Snapdragon 800 supplemented by 2 GB of RAM. On the storage front, it arrives in two configurations – 16 GB and 32 GB of native memory capacities that cannot be expanded further as there is no micro SD card slot.
