At the IFA 2014 tech show held this month in Berlin, Lenovo unveiled couple of smartphones including Vibe X2 and Vibe Z2 respectively. Now, it appears like the Vibe X2 will be announced for the Indian market soon. Well, the Lenovo Vibe X2 has been surfaced on the official website in the country tipping that its launch is imminent. However, the specific launch date of the smartphone remains unknown.
The Vibe X2 not only packs powerful internal specifications, but also features the most striking design. It is touted by Lenovo to be the world’s first layered smartphone providing a unique look to it.
When it comes to specifications, the Lenovo smartphone arrives with a 5 inch FHD display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and utilize a 2 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595m processor. This processor is assisted by 2 GB of RAM for swift multi-tasking and 32 GB of storage capacity that cannot be expanded as there is no micro SD card slot onboard.
The imaging hardware of the Vibe X2 includes a 13 MP main camera at its back with auto focus and LED flash for a better low light performance and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera for video conferencing. Other goodies onboard the Lenovo offering are Android 4.4 KitKat platform and a 2,300 mAh battery with the ability to pump in 29 hours of talk time and 9 days of standby time respectively on 3G.
