Lava has further expanded it Ivory tab portfolio with the launch Lava IvoryE 7 inch tablet priced at 7,099 INR. According to latest report by 6Wresearch, 3.44 million tablets were shipped last year in India with more than 85 percent being 7 – 7.9 Inches in size.

The 7 inch display on this budget tablet has average 1024 x 600 pixel  resolution powered by 1.3 GHz dual core MediaTek chipset with Mali 400 GPU. The tablet comes with Dual SIM functionality, which several users demand in Asian markets.

The dual core SoC is paired with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage with the option for 32 GB microSD expansion where you can place your multimedia files. Operating system is quite dated with Android 4.2 Jelly bean at the helms.

Imaging hardware includes a 2 MP rear camera and a VGA front facer for basic photography The battery capacity isn’t very inspiring either with a 2500 mAh rating. Also missing is 3G and users will have to remain content with 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth as connectivity options.
