Airtel and Aircel have announced 4G services in some cities on 2300 MHz band (TDD-LTE) standard, whereas Reliance Jio Infocomm that has a pan India license is yet to launch the services.

Service provider Idea Cellular of Aditya Birla Group has signed a solutions data charging deal for Ericsson’s Evolved IP Network (EIN). This service delivers subscriber broadband services including triple play 2G, 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi via a unified IP transport.
