Huawei MediaPad X1 which was launched at MWC 2014 at the start of this year will start selling in India as Huawei Honor X1, starting from October 15, priced at 19,990. The slim and sleek high end calling tablet also has a SIM card slot for 3G connectivity.
The tablet has a 10 point 7 inch IPS LCD display with extremely narrow bezels and full HD 1200 X 1920 resolution, amounting to 323 pixels per inches. The tablet is powered by quad core Kirin 910 chipset clocked at 1.6 GHz. There is 2 GB RAM, Mali 400 MP4 GPU and 16 GB internal storage, along with a MicroSD card slot for further expansion.
In spite of this being a tablet, Huawei hasn’t compromised with imaging hardware. There is a 13 MP rear shooter with Sony Exmor RS sensor and LED flash, besides a front facing 5 MP unit for selfies. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The battery capacity is massive 5000 mAh and Huawei claims you can watch 8 movies back to back! Software is Android 4.3 Jelly bean with Emotion UI on top. All hardware is encased in a metal body which adds to the looks of Honor X1. Huawei Honor X1 will be a treat for those who are looking for a top notch calling tablet and don’t mind putting extra large 7 inch form factor to their ears.
