We expected the demand for iPhone 6 Plus to be more, but surprisingly at the outlet we visited, most people were there to buy iPhone 6. And Yes, Bendgate has had its toll. Many Apple Fans wanted to stay away from it because of the negative attention it Bendgate scored. The geeky crowd however understood that Bendgate is overhyped.

“I haven’t used iPhone before, and everyone has been waiting, everyone has made a big hype about it, and if I wanted to buy a new phone, I wanted the latest one. What’s better than Apple?” Said Sanya, first person to purchase iPhone 6 at iZenica, New Delhi who was switching from BlackBerry Q10.

This year iPhone has taken a huge leap and offers large 4.7 Inch and 5.7 Inch retina displays. This was bound to happen sooner or later and since users in Asian markets prefer devices on the phablet side of the spectrum, demand this year will be huge.

Both phones are powered by Apple A8 chipset and run on the latest iOS 8 operating system. The iPhone 6 Plus has a bigger battery and will last longer, it also has additional Optical image stabilization when compared to iPhone 6. Then there is the over-hyped bendgate, which you shouldn’t worry about. The choice between the two will primarily depend on what you are comfortable carrying around with you.
