Hyderabad based tech maker, Celkon has announced a new phablet dubbed Celkon XION S CT695 carrying a price tag of Rs 7,499. The device appears to be a decent offering in the sub Rs 10,000 price bracket that is on par with the similar devices launched by other competitors.
When it comes to specifications, Celkon XION S CT695 boasts of a 6.95 inch display carrying a screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The phablet employs a dual-core Cortex A7 processor ticking at 1.2 GHz clock speed supplemented with Mali 400 graphics unit and 1 GB of RAM respectively.
Storage wise, the Celkon offering is packed with standard 8 GB of internal storage capacity that be expanded externally by another 32 GB via a micro SD card. Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the XION S CT695 boasts of a 5 MP primary camera at its rear and a front facing selfie camera of unspecified resolution.
The connectivity aspects of the Celkon XION S CT695 remain standard with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG and dual SIM functionality. There is a 2,500 mAh battery under the hood of the device that is expected to pump in a decent backup to it.
