Earlier this month, Obi announced three smartphones including Obi Crane S550, Leopard S502 and Falcon S451 for sale in India in the entry-level market. Last week, two other smartphones including Fox S453 and Racoon S401 were listed on the firm’s official website without any detailing regarding their pricing and availability. Now, the Obi Fox S453 has gone on sale via online retailer Indiatimes Shopping for a pricing of Rs 5,418.
When it comes to specifications, the Obi Fox S453 based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box is fitted with a 4.5 inch IPS display that carries a FWVGA screen resolution of 480×854 pixels. The smartphone employs a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor aided by Mali 400 graphics engine and 1 GB of RAM to take charge of the graphic handling and multi-tasking requirements of the users.
The Obi Fox S453 bundles standard 4 GB of inbuilt storage capacity with support for expandable storage up to 32 GB using a micro SD card. In terms of imaging, it comes with a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front facing camera for video conferencing and clicking selfies.
The connectivity features onboard the Obi smartphone include Dual SIM support, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity and gets energized by a 1,600 mAh battery that should be rendering a moderate backup to the device.
