Lately, Microsoft was in the headlines for announcing its new branding – Microsoft Lumia on the upcoming smartphones. Today, the firm has come up with a new teaser image claiming that a new Lumia smartphone will be unveiled on November 11.
Though the details regarding the smartphone to be uncovered at the event a few days from now are not revealed, it is expected to be the first Microsoft Lumia branded smartphone. Along with the date, Microsoft has also released an image of a smartphone bearing the Microsoft branding on its back instead of the Nokia branding.
Recently, a device codenamed Lumia RM-1090 has been circulating in rumors and it also got certified in China with the Microsoft branding. Going by the previous reports, the RM-1090 smartphone would boast of a 5 inch display that carries a qHD resolution of 960×540 pixels. The other aspects of the device include dual SIM functionality, LED flash with the rear snapper and a 1,905 mAh battery. Furthermore, the recent Zauba import listing suggests that the Lumia 535, sequel to the Lumia 530 is on cards.
While there is no concrete evidence on which device will be launched at the November 11 event, we will get more official details in just four days. Meanwhile, we expect to witness more leaks and rumors regarding the smartphone as well.
