Lava has added yet another selfie focused smartphone to its existing portfolio. Within months after the launch of the Iris X5, the vendor has come up with the Iris Selfie 50 that is priced at Rs 7,699.
When it comes to specifications, the Lava Iris Selfie 50 is given a 5 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels that results in a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. Powering the device is a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor of unspecified chipset that is backed by 1 GB of RAM.
Fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the Lava smartphone comes with an 8 MP primary snapper that is paired with BSI 2 sensor and dual LED flash for an enhanced low light performance. At its front, there is a 5 MP front facing shooter that is also teamed up with LED flash to click better selfies under low lighting environments.
The connectivity aspects of the Lava Iris Selfie 50 are pretty standard with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and dual SIM functionality onboard. The device gets energized from a 2,400 mAh battery, but the backup delivered by the same remains unknown.
