Micromax Bolt A065 with Android KitKat Listed on Company Website

Micromax has come up with a new low-end smartphone called Micromax Bolt A065 that has been listed it on its official website. The pricing of this new offering is yet to be announced, but the device is available online between Rs 3,799 and Rs 3,999.

The Bolt A065 is a dual SIM smartphone boasting a 4 inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor that is teamed up with 512 MB of RAM. There is a 2 MP fixed focus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera as well. The handset bundles 4 GB of inbuilt storage space that is further expandable up to 32 GB with the help of micro SD card.

A 2,000 mAh battery energizes the Micromax Bolt A065 and it is rated by the company to pump in up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 900 hours of standby time respectively. The smartphone is packed with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB, but it lacks 3G support.

The Micromax Bolt A065 is pre-installed with applications such as M! Live, MAD, Reveire, Kingsoft Office, M!Games, Getit and Opera Mini.

The entry-level smartphone market is flooded with numerous such low end offerings that lack 3G connectivity. These smartphones are primarily focused towards the feature phone upgraders and some of them are Celkon Campus A35K, Lava Iris 310 and others that are priced in the sub Rs 4,000 range.
