Xiaomi Redmi Note to be Available Early for Flipkart First Subscribers

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note in India on Monday and announced the device will be available for sale via Flipkart starting from December 2. It is well known that Xiaomi devices go on flash sale and the stocks would be empty in few seconds from the debut of sale as they have created a great hype amongst the consumers. Flipkart has come up with Flipkart First subscription and the first five thousand consumers who subscribe to this service will get the Redmi Note added to their cart automatically. Also, the subscribers can purchase the phablet on December 1 that is a day prior to the availability of the device. Notably, the registration on Flipkart First should be done before November 29.

To remind of specs, the Redmi Note boasts of a 5.5 inch IPS display with HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It makes use of a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592 SoC paired with 2 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of native storage capacity with support for expandable memory up to 32 GB. The Redmi Note features a 13 MP primary snapper with auto focus and LED flash at its back and a 5 MP front facer at the front for video conferencing.

The Redmi Note model includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB, OTG, a-GPS and dual SIM functionality and is energized by a 3,100 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean MIUI v5 skin with no word regarding an update.
