Evertone has launched a unique Bluetooth hands free, which also doubles as a phone. In other words, the EVERTONE Mini Mobile is a Bluetooth enabled mini phone with full blown numeric keypad, a small display, speaker and Microphone, priced at 2,850 INR. This can be considered as a low cost alternative for HTC Mini + remote in India.
Evertone indeed calls this patented product ‘Little baby’ and understandably so. If you are worried about mounting a phone like device on your ears – you need not, as this weighs only 23 grams measuring 71mm x 23.5mm x 12.6 mm.
When used as a mobile phone, Evertone claims its 200 mAh battery will last for 1.5 hours of talk time and 2 days of standby time. As a sub mobile phone, you can double the usage to 3 hours of talk time 5 days of Standby time. You can charge it from 0 to 100% in 40 minutes.
Powered by MediaTek chipset, Evertone’s Little Baby accepts a MicroSIM card and is available in 3 different color options. Voice commands will only work in Chinese language.
Evertone hasn’t however listed Noise cancelation in the spec list, which is a key feature in hands free devices. The mini phone will be suitable for those who carry large display phablets and calling tablets, as it’s not always convenient to drag them out for voice calls.
